Compressor leaking air sizzling noise

If the compressor is leaking air at the rear, which both mine did, the fix was done in 10 minutes. Unscrewed both "spouts" on top of the compressors, cleaned the installation surface with brake cleaner, and applied another layer of silicone sealant. Now all the air goes where it should, and no more sooting on the expansion tank either.

If the fuse is blown, the next thing on the list is to check the connection on the compressor. You should measure 3.4 ohms +/- 10% between the pins on the plug to the clutch. Under 2 ohm_short circuit in the compressor clutch
